Cuddle Etiquette
Set your boundaries
At the Cuddle Workshop, you only ever engage in an exercise if you want to.
Say ‘no’ when you don’t want to do something or not with a particular person.
You can say no verbally or through a gesture, like crossing your forearm or hands
before your chest in the shape of an X.
Respect boundaries
Do not touch anyone without their permission.
Ask ‘Would you like a hug?’ or something similar before you touch them first,
and be mindful that they may withdraw their consent later on, too.
Only touch in platonic ways
While sexual touch is natural and to be celebrated,
it is not appropriate at the Cuddle Workshop.
Do not touch breasts and genitals –
and do not bring sexual energy into the space.
(If sexual feelings or reactions arise in your body,
just step outside for a little while until they calm down.)
Keep Confidentiality
Treat any personal information or experience that others
have shared with you during the workshop, confidentially.
*
· For allergy considerations, please don’t wear perfume.
*
Our Cuddle Workshops are gender neutral,
LGBTQ+ friendly, multicultural and inclusive.
We allow no racism, sexism, size-ism, or any other forms
of discriminatory behaviour.
*
Touch with respect,
with mindfulness,
and the intention
to increase Love and Happiness.
