Spiritual Growth
As we develop our mental and physical strength, we become increasingly intrigued by deeper layers of our psyche.
There are three main areas which give us glimpses into the spiritual dimensions of our Self. These can be gateways to experiences about ourselves being more than our physical bodies: |
☼ dreams, especially dreams in which we know that we are dreaming (lucid dreams),
☼ out-of-body experiences, which are more rare, but more intense (they frequently occur during near-death experiences, but not only then) and
☼ finally, some people have recollections and sentiments that they have lived in previous lives.
Due to our current materialistic paradigm, none of these areas are widely known, and much of the data we do have remains unorganized.
However, there is already enough academically documented evidence and consistent reports to show that the described spiritual phenomena are real and worthy of investigation.
The question only is: what do we make of them? If you have experienced anything of this kind, or have a keen interest in exploring what lies behind:
brand new worlds are beginning to open their gates.

Lucid Dreaming and OBEsDreams have played an important role not just in modern psychology, but many ancient spiritual traditions, as well.
In Tibetan Dream Yoga, practitioners learn to remain aware during the sleeping process and continue their spiritual practice while dreaming. An extremely interesting related phenomenon is the out-of-body experience, in which the person has a feeling of floating above or away from the physical body, while s/he is distinctly aware not to be in a mere dream or hallucination.
Out-of-body experiences sometimes occur naturally, but can also be trained to help them being induced. |
Death and Near-DeathOut-of-body experiences are frequently reported by those, who survived a near death experience. There is a sensation of leaving the physical body, often travelling through a tunnel towards a source of love and light.
This experience is compatible with all that we have been told by all virtually all religions and spiritual traditions throughout history, namely that we are not merely our physical body and death is not the end of our experience. In modern times it was Dr Raymond Moody who began to search for cases of NDEs. There are numerous well-documented cases world-wide. |
Past Lives & ReincarnationDo you know someone who never was a stranger - it felt you knew each other before you even met?
Have you ever been to some place which somehow seemed familiar? Have you had memories which pointed to events which occurred before you were born? Ever since Freud's revolutionary idea of making the unconscious conscious, therapists have been regressing clients to times when a problem first occurred.
Cases began to show up from the 1950s, in which the client's memories went back all the way to birth - and before. The most remarkable thing about memories before birth is that they behave psychologically like any other memory: working through them brings healing and opens up our choices. |
