On this day, a small group of us got together to test an unusual technique to induce altered states of consciousness, in particular for exploring past lives. The Christos Technique is a kinaestetic method, which involves massaging of the pineal gland and the ankles; on the mental and energetic as well as guided visualisation and external interviewing.
We wanted to gain some experiences with a new technique, as well as see how this technique differs from more conventional regression techniques. |

The Journey
AftermathAnd then we saw it happening. At Christmas, authorities in Hungary declared a state of emergency, due to the flooding of the Danube river. The water breached the banks of the river and flooded areas which would normally be busy with traffic. It reached the Houses of Parliament, where the situation was becoming most critical.
Our little group exchanged some excited messages, photos, and videos about the flood waters and restrictions in various districts of the city. This certainly felt like a case of premonition, even though we were reluctant to look at it with superstition and believe in 'destiny.' But we could see what past life explorations teach on the most profound level: that everything connected. Experiences from the past can resonate with the present, and even with things yet to come. As the result of this unusal flood mid-winter, Budapest had to forfify its flood defenses, as the event raised concerns among climate experts. |

Conclusion
Was this flood another warning? A modern day threat we are facing, is the changing climate, which goes back to our human behaviour, hence ultimately, the solution requires an inner transformation.
Even though in some ways working with the Christos Technique was more difficult than with conventional hypnotherapuetic techniques - more people were needed and due to the deep and detached state of mind it triggered, interviewing became more challenging - it also yielded some unusual results; hence the technique definitely deserves some further study and attention.
