The Story of the Place

Little Viciente is my small retreat in the Northern Highlands of Hungary, where the forest begins. It's bordering between the two worlds: a row of bushes extends between the village (end of civilization) and where the cottage stands and the wilderness begins (the untamed world of nature and inspration).

Originally, I bought this little cottage with a bit of surrounding land to have a place for quiet writing and experimental, alternative living away from the city. Those who visit, can feel the wild nature, calling us for magical adventure. There are boars and brown bear roaming these woods, here, the visible and the invisible worlds meet. The place is not without challenges, the greatest of which was a devastating fire a couple of years ago, that left the cottage inhabitable for a while but also gave a chance to practice shadow work, occult reconciliation, resurrection.

Later, as I was searching for a vision to give me the necessary strength to rebuild, a new idea came to my mind: Little Viciente shall be a place not just for myself but for kindred spirits who would like to visit and share a place of inspiration with me... a place for soul-searching, meditation, and creativity... a place for the writing, painting, making music, gardening and connect to each other as well as with the higher realms and our lives' purpose... The Phoenix Project was born!

The Invitation

This place allows those who spend time here to experience the borders of two worlds: the human world on one side and the natural world on the other. Once you connect to the natural world, you are beginning to sense that it goes deeper than trees, even deeper than the amazing mushroom network that connects the entire forest from below. Connecting to nature also means to connect with things that are commonly invisible to the eye: to those divine, mystical forces that nurture life and creativity. The definition of "real" expands exponentially: it no longer entails only our consensual, physical reality but also the archetypal depths and multidimensional heights.

I am happy to hear from you if you are an artist or a seeker, any soul-searching traveller into the deeper meanings of life. Perhaps, one day you would like to visit this place and help expanding it.
