Christopher Bache: Lifecycles

An excellent, broad ranging overview about reincarnational research, which shows that whenever we tap deep into the human psyche, a memory of past lives and an inherent knowledge of our higher purpose becomes apparent. 

This can be recommended as a first book on the topic.

Joe Fisher: Coming Back Alive


​Another classic overview, which contains interesting historical gems as well as a body of evidence which suggests that "a rational man can, if he wants now, believe in reincarnation on the basis of evidence rather than simply on the basis of religious doctrine or cultural tradition."

Winafred Blake Lucas et al.: Regression Therapy

Although this is a handbook for professionals (and constitutes the most comprehensive source about regression therapy currently out there), the two volumes can also be enjoyed by the seriously interested layperson, especially because it presents a rich collection of fascinating case studies.

Wagner Alegretti: Retrocognitions

An invaluable resource especially for those who want to discover their past lives (at least partially) on their own, and who want to understand how it all fits into their existential program.
With the help of this book you can learn how to use several techniques working on different fronts at the same time: you can create a whole life-style which is optimizing your recalls.

Thorwald Dethlefsen:
Voices of other Lives

Better known in the German-speaking world, Dethlefsen has pioneered past life regressions by "removing hypnosis" as a form of induction. He realized that (hetero-)hypnosis gave control to the therapist instead of the client, and created more empowering - mainly visual - techniques instead. 

Tulku Thondup:
​Peaceful Death, Joyful Rebirth

A Tibetan Buddhist approach to our topic, which is especially interesting for our investigations, as the book contains cases of delogs (Tibetan cases of temporary death experiences), as well as the description of Buddhist efforts to create non-physical places which serve the evolution of consciousness  after death (so-called pure realms).

Jim Tucker: ​Return to Life

The investigation with children who spontaneously remember past lives, as conducted by Jim Tucker (and others like Erlendur Haraldsson, and previously Ian Stevenson), constitute so far the best evidence for reincarnation. Unlike in therapy, these cases arise in a young child's mind, who has no agenda and no preconceptions, yet delivers stunning and verifiable details.

Anne Jirsch: The Future is Yours

The power of past life regression becomes full, when coupled with techniques which helps us identify - and if necessary change - our future trends. This book offers techniques to do that, ultimately in order to find our "soul's purpose," the evolutionary-spiritual reason why we are having this particular life right now and what is our work in it.

Chet Snow: Mass Dreams of the Future

An interesting social experiment into the collective unconscious regarding humanity's future: in the 1980's hundreds of subjects were progressed into future lives, the time period after 2100 A.D. Remarkable, practically all reports did fit into one out of three future scenarios... 

Joel Whitton & Joe Fisher:
Life between Life
