Research into "THE CYCLIC NATURE OF CIVILIZATIONS"

Background

When I started doing my research into past lives, I came across a number of things which suggested that not only individual consciousness, but also human civilization as a whole evolved in a cyclical fashion. History could be a lot older than commonly assumed, and our entire written history might have been built on preceding civilizations. This idea resonated with me. It never really made sense what we learned in school history class, namely that high civilizations, like the Egyptian had directly risen out of primitive prehistory. Albeit I wasn't particularly looking to study this (after all, the topic seemed far away from the scope of hypnotherapy), evidence upon evidence came to me through a series of synchronicities. It seemed consciousness, reincarnation and the meaning of human life cannot be understood unless we are putting it into the right historic context.

​So it was time to ask:

How old is human history really?

Does history occur in a one-time fashion, as mainstream history books suggest?

Or were there civilizations before ours, as our racial memory (mythology) seems to suggest?

We have remnants of a megalithic culture all over the planet, about which we know nothing. The Hypogeum in Malta goes two storeys deep into the ground.

In our current mainstream understanding, the human adventure is portrayed as a one-time occurrence, which started in the animal kingdom some 2.8 million years ago, when carnivorous scavengers began to use their brains better and made tools. Anatomically modern humans were around in the last 200.000 years. Yet, civilisation is supposed to have only begun ca 5.000 years ago. That accounts for less than 0.3% (!) of all the time in which human consciousness was present on the planet. Were we doing nothing else than chipping flint-stones for all these years? There seems to be evidence which suggests otherwise: humans must have exhibited previous cultural cycles in the past.

What if we could research this idea further? I have written an initial essay, which contains many of the things I've found and suggest a line of reasoning. (If you are interested, please read it here.) 

The following is a brief list of the type of anomalies I have found so far, all of which suggest that indeed, there might have been civilizations before our own:

List of historic anomalies:

☼  We can find remains of large buildings of unknown age on the planet,  the building of which required high levels of technology (e.g. Ollantaytambo, Baalbek).

☼ There seems to exist a vast underground tunnel system, the age of which is unknown, but reaches over large areas and might have been used for habitation (see also Derinkuyu).

☼ Megalithic structures, such as Stonehenge are universal all across the Earth, but we virtually know nothing about the culture which erected them.

☼ Specialised knowledge in prehistoric times seems more sophisticated than we can give account for (see e.g. the colonization of Australia 55.000 years ago).

☼ Water erosion marks on the Great Sphinx at Giza show that the statue is actually older than dynastic Egypt. The recently unearthed temple at Göbekli Tepe (carbon-dated back to 8-10.000 BC) features a complex temple structure, complete with precision masonry and developed artwork.

☼ Culture precedes civilization. At the dawn of civilization there was already a high level of social organisation, culture (see e.g. the Epic of Gilgamesh), and we even have artifacts pointing towards the explorations of non-physical realms going back as much as 40.000 (!) years.  

Invitation to explore with me further

At times like ours in which  paradigms shift, I believe it is not only the content of our knowledge which must change, but also the methods how we tackle things. Instead of waiting for academic approval and some funding pouring in, we can simply align our interests.

Let's do research together!

We can distribute the relevant topics and put everything we found together at the end, like a big puzzle . Like a big puzzle, how magnificent the picture might be we see at the end?

Who can participate?

This is new paradigm, 21st century, independent research we are planning. Thus you don't need any academic credentials to participate, but skills in researching and publishing, and the knowledge of a relevant field are all certainly of benefit. You do need, however, to demonstrate that you will take our work seriously. You'll decide what you are willing to do, how much time you can put into this, but we do expect that once on board, you do whatever you agreed to do. 

The aim is to come up with a solid research paper which we can present at relevant conferences and submit to journals, so the work we put into this will need to be well-founded. 

What will happen next?

After you send a messages of interest, you'll get an invitation to a project launching web-conference, where we will discuss interest, distribute research topics and set up regular online meetings (about once a month), where we share our finds.

The date of the preliminary web conference for all participants:

September 2, 2017 at 6 pm GMT, via skype (viktoriaduda).
 
You don't need to commit until we have all discussed our parts at our first meeting. After that, it will be totally up to us what we make of this opportunity, and I am expecting it to be nothing less than a genuine adventure of the unknown kind. 

If some catastrophe wiped out our present civilization, in 10.000 years time no track would remain of our existence, except remains of some large buildings, like the Hoover Dam or the President's Head carved into Mount Rushmore.

These five gigantic blocks at Ollantaytambo, Peru are of unknown age and unknown origin, just as the head figures on Eastern Island. Everything we seem to know about these structures is speculation, because (unlike carbon) stone cannot be dated.
